Beastly is a fantasy - romance movie based on Alex Flinn's 2007 novel of the same name and will be shown on March 4. Beastly movie is a modern-day take on the "Beauty and the Beast" tale where a New York teen is transformed into a hideous monster in order to find true love. Kyle Kingson (Alex Pettyfer) has it all -- looks, intelligence, wealth and opportunity -- and a wicked cruel streak. He is prone to mocking and humiliating unattractive classmates. He blows her off in a particularly savage fashion. Kyle Kingson is cursed and becomes a hideous monster, he is sent to Brooklyn where he strikes a deal to force a drug dealer's daughter, Lindy (Vanessa Hudgens), to live with him.
